Behind oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world. And sadly, the supply chains for many of the fashions we wear are all too often corrupted by forced and child labor and inhumane working conditions.

Like you, I care about the environment and our common humanity. I recycle, compost, strive to avoid plastics, include pollinator attractive plants in my garden, and buy fair trade whenever possible.

To live in integrity, it’s essential that Thoughtful Threads comes full circle to reflect these core values.

While communicating messages of equality, kindness and love helps us lift each other up, we instigate change through action—even small actions drive positive change!

That’s why it’s important to me that Thoughtful Threads garments and products embrace the ethical and environmentally-conscious standards that nourish a happier, healthier planet—and we’re almost there!

Currently, 97% of our apparel is fair trade and made from sustainable, environmentally-friendly materials.

Of course, for anyone who knows me, you know *almost* is simply not good enough!

• Thoughtful Threads packaging is now compostable

• Moving forward, all of our stickers and decals will be made from compostable or recycled materials

• By the end of 2021, our entire line of Thoughtful Threads products to be 100% eco-conscious and fair trade
